This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The left side has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a premium membership.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a premium membership.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
The streets are decorated with piles of bright yellow leaves. Quite a dramatic effect, fun to walk in, and the leaves fly up into tiny whirlwinds as cars pass by. What's not to love?!?
Spent a few uninspiring weeks where nothing came out right, but this week the calligraphy blues has started to lift. Hurrah! Just in time to make my Christmas cards!
Thanks for the nice comments. I have many sources of inspiration: mostly books on calligraphy and on watercolor techniques. I also make splashes on a page when I warm up before doing a clean calligraphy, and experiment on scrap paper. Some of the better-looking smudges and letters can be used later on.
Sorry it took me so long to reply - I just finished a couple of time consuming projects. Websites that inspired me for calligraphy: - Deviant Art calligraphy ([link]) - Thomas Ingmire website ([link]) - Thomas Hoyer website (www.callitype.com/en/index.html) - Claude Mediavilla books & website ([link]HPSESSID=210f474b7ae56e63e379ed5e9873de0c) - Donald Jackson website (www.saintjohnsbible.org/people/jackson.htm) - John Stevens website (www.johnstevensdesign.com and [link]) - David Harris website ([link]) - Covers of calligraphy magazines ( Letters Arts Review [link] Scripsit [link]) And if you search for calligraphy societies online, you'll find many, many more images to inspire you. Enjoy!
